Abdul (Dubai)
Fernando (Costa Rica)
Yogesh (India)
About Abdul:
Abdul is an OG Auslander even before Germany. As an Indian who grew up in the UAE, he spills the chai on both the glitz and darksides of living in Dubai. He talks about the poverty and tragedy since moving to Germany, a while ago (He doesn’t admit exactly when, in fear of being judged for his duetsch skills).
Come and watch him break stereotypes as being the dumbest Asian to come out of India, the poorest Sheikh moving from Dubai. Nevertheless, he is determined to be the most efficient German once he gets the appointment from Auslanderbehorde, via Fax.
Reviews of Abdul:
“He’s funny for sure, but he needs help.”
His mom
“I love watching Abdul on comedy shows. He is eloquent, funny, witty, sharp & thesaurus”
Abdul (A different Abdul)
About Fernando:
Meet Fernando Acosta, a Caribbean native who traded the sunny, laid-back vibes of Costa Rica for the structured chill of Central Europe. Facing relentless pressure from German bureaucracy to “get a proper job,” he chose comedy over therapy. Through witty observations and a touch of self-deprecating humor, Fernando shares his journey of life between two worlds—exploring cultural stereotypes, social dynamics, and the little ironies that make life both absurd and beautiful.
About Yogesh:
Ladies and gentlemen, fasten your seatbelts for a comedic autobahn ride with Yogi, the man whose humor was once as twisted as a Bavarian pretzel but, thanks to Germany, is now as straightforward as a no-nonsense Autobahn sign!
Yogesh is an indian (so obviously an engineer! Just not software but some kind of engineer!) who started comedy as hobby in Germany. Now with over 100 open mics under his belt which were performed at various places like Frankfurt, Heidelberg, Munich, Mannheim, Freiburg and Stuttgart , he is now ready to bring his half solo.
His style of humor is observational humour and anecdotal comedy. Day to day things which most of the people miss, he picks those up and builds humorous web around it. Twelve years in Germany which is the land of 'say it as it is' have honed his wit to be as sharp and precise as german engineering.
So get ready for this "Termin" where you are not "versichert" against too much laughter to enjoy the humour which is "Made in Germany" !
